This is a brand new group created to build awareness of the Deaf community. This group is for members of the Deaf community, who live in Central PA, that would like to be able to create or communicate events to get together with friends. This group is also for individuals whom want to learn American Sign Language or those whom want to have the opportunity to practice the language. This group is also a place for parents of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing to join and learn more about Deafness and sign language.
This blog is to provide a place for group members to quickly look at for current social events, workshops, classes, and other get togethers. Social Events, classes/workshop run and created by a group member, and get togethers will not have a fee attached to the event. Workshops, classes, and events run by other organizations or events that require paying a speaker or instructor to attend will have a fee for participation.
